Arctic Liquid Freezer ii 280 not making contact with CPU

bluesummer

As the title says, my new AIO is not making contact with my CPU. I've found it's because the standoffs are way too tall to make contact. I'm on LGA1200, all my specs are listed on my profile if you have questions. I've done absolutely everything I can to make sure they make contact, I've reinstalled almost a dozen times, I've tried it without the standoffs, I've tried different screws, with and without the bracket, removing the washers to make more space, yet nothing. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it? I really don't want to RMA considering the cooler itself works fine and it's a great unit, but I feel out of options. Is there something I'm missing?

Here are fully animated instructions, make sure to follow them to the dot. Just click on the "intel socket - 1200/115x", and then select "installation".

MAKE SURE to use the correct parts, triple check everything. The site has listed the lengths of standoffs, so measure them.
