wifi over 260 meter for laser shooting

hallo, 

i am organizing an outdoor laser shooting competition for my scouting, unfortunately the guns need wifi.

I already have a 4g to wifi converter but now need a solution to give wifi to the guns over 260 meters of ground. 

does anyone have any advice?

Realistically, you need a mesh network to get strong, fast signals over such a wide area.

 

You also must do strong testing beforehand to be certain your even will not be ruined by poor performance.

I am not sure if what you are looking for is Mesh network. Meshing introduces latency, if extra 10-300ms of latency is not a big deal then its fine but otherwise you might be looking at setting up individual APs meticulously and at that point it can be a massive chore. I would recommend contacting the company where the laser shooting stuff is purchased and see what kind of network setup they recommend.

This is a better answer.

 

Though, I would bet OP is doing a one off event and spending many thousands on the right gear might not be within the scope

@Levent  het laser guns are borrowt from my brothers work and that is normaliter with 4g. but the scouting is in a area where there is almost no 4g. but i'm curently trying to vind outdoor access points for that mesh network. thanks for your input
