Call of Duty (Game of the Year) on Win 10 - PLEASE HELP!?

Hi all, I recently realized I still have my original COD disk from when I was younger and want nothing more than to play it again. Currently only the multiplayer will run and I cannot get the single player to run on Windows 10. In the quick searching I have done, I realize that a noCD fix\hack might work best but am weary of this solution. It seems shady and I really don't want to make any stupid risks. I was wondering if anyone has be able to correct this issue possibly withoughout the noCD fix? I really really would love to play my game again. Any help would be apricated, thank you!

when I would play cod2 (the old one from 2006) on windows 10 I would have to use a nocd fix exe for it and sometimes run in compatibility mode, just find one from a good website and you should be fine.

Is there any sites you would recommend. I found a few like megagames but didn't know the safety of sites like that.

I guess that is always an option. Thank you! I'll have to look into this more to make sure I do this right if I do decide to go this route.
