My budget is $1,800, and I have created a list of parts that I want to use. Do these parts make sense for my budget, and will they work well together? I know the cables I will need for the fans and lighting, and the mounting bracket for my cooler to be used with LGA 1700. I just wanted someone's opinion on this.

rock solid build

a 360 AIO would be nice but a good noctura cooler does also the job for less

for the storage i would recommend a 980 or PM9A1 Samsung NVME, they have better Cache

also i prefer EVGA GPU, they have usualy better PCBs, but thats up to everyone mind

Which one specifically, there are 4-5 different ones all labeled as SuperNOVA with varying degrees of quality, some of which (GA off the top of my head) are known to have issues with 30 series cards. G5, G6, GA, GT, B5, etc.?

Get whichever is cheaper, and if they're the same price err on the side of EVGA since they have the better RMA department. Performance will be the same between them so it's not worth spending much more on the one over the other, I'd probably get whatever the cheapest one is.

How much are you spending on this? Corsair RAM is usually really expensive for the memory bin you get, the only real advantage of it is that the RGB software is the same as the AIO (though still not great IMO) and they have a higher than average chance of putting Samsung B die (the best overclocking memory chip) in their bad bins. It still doesn't likely make a ton of sense to get though.

If you're gonna be getting a 12700K with the hopes of overclocking it, you really should get a 360mm radiator. A 240 is fine for stock operation, but overclocked that chip runs real hot and can overwhelm a 240mm rad once you start trying to push it. If you aren't gonna be overclocking it, you might as well save your money and get a B660 board and a 12700 instead, performance is about the same and it will save you $50-100.

The power supply is GA. If this one causes problems which one would you recommend?

For the RAM I am paying $120 which is on sale. It is on Amazon and at a Microcenter near me, one was $140 and the other was $180. I was deciding between the Corsair and G.Skill Trident Z, which I see that a lot of people use.

For the AIO, I went with mine because it seemed cheap and good, and it comes with two fans, which are not as bad as Corsair or Lian Li fans ($12 per).

That's one of the ones that's known to have issues. Go for the G6 instead.

For that price it's OK. Any more than $120 and I'd really suggest getting something else.

It's cheap, it's not really anything amazing with performance. A $40 air cooler will roughly match it in performance. Again, 360mm rad is the minimum that makes sense to get for a 12700k.

Is there better ram I could get for around the same price or does it not really make a difference unless I go to ddr5?

Also do you have any cheaper 360mm AIOs that you would recommend?

Thank you and everyone else for the help.

Depends on whether RGB is a make or break for you. If it's not, you can save $30 and get the same performance with this kit

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/B8QcCJ/silicon-power-gaming-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr4-3200-cl16-memory-sp032gxlzu320bdaj7

If you want to overclock your RAM and get some really nice performance (about the same as some lower end DDR5 with much lower latency)

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FHpmP6/crucial-ballistix-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr4-3200-memory-bl2k16g32c16u4w

If you want to just enable XMP and be done with it, this kit is guaranteed dual rank with a pretty good XMP profile out of the box (including a 3600MHz CL18 profile), though it might cause issues with the Gigabyte board you selected (Gigabyte's memory topology isn't particularly good on LGA 1700)

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/8gt9TW/neo-forza-faye-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr4-4400-cl19-memory-nmud416e82-4400gg20

If you  care about RGB this is about the same performance (slightly higher bandwidth but marginally worse latency)

That's the cheapest one I'd recommend. It's a great AIO.

You plan to stick with 32GB or upgrade later? If you plan to stick with 32GB, check if maybe running 4 channel might be better than dual channel. If that is the caes, four channel might be worth it if it doesn't cost too much extra.

Ryzen don't support 4 (quad) channel. 4 memory sticks with Ryzen is still dual channel.

You're right, but I'm pretty sure slight performance can still be gained from using all 4 slots so might be worth for OP to check that out.
