Dynamic vs Basic Memory

Go to solution Solved by Eigenvektor,

There shouldn't be any inherent difference in performance between a basic disk and a dynamic disk, as long as you're not using certain features a dynamic disk offers. A dynamic disk can e.g. be used to make a drive that spans multiple physical volumes. That would introduce some overhead and lower performance. If you don't need that, just go with a basic disk.
