I noticed in your website the "about" & " contact me" buttons, you have to either make them " about me" & "contact me" or "about" & " contact", since in most of the site you descripe your self alone as the owner i would say go with "about me" & "contact me" it will look better than now :) .

 

and about the backgrounds, ignore any comments about them for now, until u add content then the background will stretch and then we can tell u if its good or bad. ;)
