Hi all,

I need help with my friend's pc. He recently upgraded GTX 980TI with 6900xt. Problem he getting really low fps and shutters on games (CS:GO, Fortnite, Warzone). He already have disabled ULPS through MSI Afterburner and made some tweaks on Amd drivers software like GPU speed while idling. The problem still exists and in CS:GO het gets avg 356fps, max 681 and min 136 FPS. BIOS is updated like all other drivers to latest versions.

System:

I7-10700k no OC with 360mm AIO

MOBO Aorus z490 Elite

2x16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM

850W EVGA PSU

XFX RX 6900XT Merc 319

Acer monitor FHD, 240hz

Maybe someone had same issues and can recommend something to solve this problem. I forgot one more thing to mention. If he tries enable Resazible bar he's getting BSOD with error Kernel security.

Thanks all for your time and have a nice weekend.

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers using DDU then reinstalling the drivers?

If not, then try so. Do it for both Nvidia and AMD drivers.

Also, what resolution he's playing at ? 1080p?

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

Thanks for your reply. After he got new GPU he reinstalled window 10. Deleted old partitions, created new ones and then installes windows. After first try to enable Resazible bar got BSOD, then disabled it. When windows booted up he found no driver on pc. Yeah it is 1080p resolution.
