PC Restarts when playing games

Mclitty

For a while now my pc has randomly been restarting itself in some games like forza horizon 5 and just last night i bought Call of duty modern warfare 2019 and upon starting the game my pc restarts itself before i even see the program open.

I cannot figure out for the life of me why its doing this, the CPU isn't overheating my GPU isn't overheating and all my drivers are up to date. I can't check if the PSU is being overloaded because the pc restarts itself before I can even get a read on HWMonitor.

I have a

Ryzen 5 5600X

RTX 2070 Super

and a 650w 80+ gold EVGA PSU

had similar behavior when my very old psu began to crap itself. so it may be that, swap out your psu if you have one available or if not then you can try to rma the one you have.
