Ill be the first to admit ive never played diablo (not my style of rpg) but I know its one of the biggest game franchises and blizzard is absolutely destroying their reputation.

I feel bad for people who enjoy diablo, i remember when horse armor in oblivion was laughed at, now dumber mechanics are the norm

Yeah, reading the reviews - microtransactions to the max is a stopsign. Even if I really liked the 3rd installment.

is diablo immortal the same game that had that disaster of a release where the guy on stage said "dont you guys own cell phones" or something

Yeah that's the earlier stop sign.

It seems to be meant for "family and oved ones" who are a bit slow.

I'm playing immortal.

 

So far I've spent 2$, and after seeing the "limit"?  I'm not going to spend much more.

 

It's a fun game, I'm enjoying it, but I'm def not dropping hundreds on it.
