Anker NEBULA Cosmos Max 4K Projector

wgaca

Hello Everyone,

I am looking at Nebula Cosmos Max 4k dlp projector, currently at the price of £1099.99

It will be used in my bedroom mainly for movies.

The question is, for that price, is there a better option or just similar alternatives?

The seconds question is, is it better to go for the NEBULA Cosmos Laser 1080p at current price of £1499? If so why?

Thanks

A couple of things.

First, LTT isn't a great place to get advice about projectors in general.  One of the ways you can tell is because the mods haven't moved your post from "Displays" to "Home Theater".  Any other kinds of topics, and it would have been moved in 30m or less.

Second, depending on your intended viewing distance/angles, ambient light, potential use outside your bedoorm, etc--there are plenty of other options that may be worth considering.  For example, even Anker has a newer version of the 4k with the Cosmos Laser 4k--which appears to have a brighter ANSI rating.  And something like the AAXA 4k1 is, imho a far better option for far less money.  If you decide to go with 1080p, there's also options like the AAXA M7, the Samsung Freestyle, and a litany of others.

There's also pico projectors like the AAXA P8 or Viewsonic M1 Mini--which are designed more for "TV-size" images than projector images (read: you don't have to be 10' back or more)--and can be had for <$300.
