Burning a BluRay disk?

Real_Smoky

Edit: problem solved using a newer BluRay drive, no idea whether the older one is simply worse or defective.

Hello, everybody!

I am having a bit of a problem with burning a BluRay disk. I have tried 2 disks already and Windows throws up an error that doesn't really say anything.

The disks are Verbatim BD-R DL 50GB 6x Model number 43736 - it should be this type of disc:

https://www.amazon.de/Verbatim-43736-BD-R-DL-Druckversion/dp/B004BSIIKG

The drive I am using to burn it is an LG Model GGW H20L, it should be this:

https://www.amazon.de/LG-GGW-H20L-Blu-ray-Brenner-schwarz/dp/B000Y1AFCS

If it is of any information, the discs say they are for x6 speed burners, but Windows only offers x2 burn speed. Doesn't a lower burn speed offer more compatibility? The drive also offers Max. 6x BD-R Write Speed according to the specs.

Thanks!

What error?

What are you burning? An image, files, video?

With what program are you burning it?
