Hello everyone! I currently have an i7-8700K on an Asus Prime z370-A (ATX CASE), and I'm basically waiting for Ryzen 7000 at this point before changing the entire PC build, as I'm also planning on doing a custom EKWB Watercooled System.

Meanwhile, however, i want to know what is the best Cooling Option for my current rig in terms of Noise Reduction and Overall Silence, basically i don't care about having the best temperatures in the world (I'm fine with normal temps and i don't overclock the CPU) but i do care about silence since that's basically the main reason of this post. So to deliver normal or somewhat acceptable temps while keeping the noise as low as possible, what would the best option be in this case? I don't care about the type of cooling solution itself (be it AIO, air, etc) as long as it's the best choice for my primary aim.

So that's basically it. Thanks for reading!

Yeah i know the Asus is a motherboard...........................

I'm using a nzxt phantom 530 and the ram is a vengeance LPX. I'm in the United States and there is no budget limit, i need this thing to be quiet and period (i don't want to run a custom water cooled system tho, as like i said, will be changing everything later this year)

The post says I do not overclock 😉

so a big cooler should be quiet or bigger the aio the quieter too. the more air flow case the quiter the fans can run.

custom water cooling the more rads the quieter it can be at a setrn temp demising returns thow keep in mind each added fans adds to the total sound.

the i7-8700K if i rember was a beast too cool back in the day most delided them. 75c is a safe temp but really up to you what temp you want... 3090s seem to run at 85c

in throy the lower temp the "longer it will last" but most people will upgrade long before then so its kinda a stupid point. back then parts only lasted a few year so it did mean something.

I have dyslexia plz be kind to me. dont like my post dont read it or respond thx

also i edit post alot because you no why...
