So a while ago, I saw some benchmarks that showed an overclocked 780 @1300l+ beating a stock 780ti. Is that possible? Unfortunately I can't find the benchmarks anymore.

Don't see why not, with a good sample.

Dont JayzTwoCents have a 780 which beats a 780ti? He is also pretty lucky when it comes to graphics cards.

Why wouldn't a 780 at 1300 MHz core beat a 780 Ti at stock (<1000 MHz core)? The overclock compensates the lesser number of CUDA cores in the 780. Overclock the 780 Ti and then see.

very possible ,specially if ti was a lightning ,that card is beast overclocker  ,but as soon the as 780Ti is also overclocked ,it'll just burst by the 780
