HELP!!!! New 12th gen build giving me trouble

DevilDecalsLLC

Im having trouble with my new build. This is the first computer I've done.

Lian li o11 dynamic Evo in white

Msi 260 AIO

Asus rog strix z690e mb

GEIL polaris 5 ddr5 memory 2x16gb 4800mhz

Intel i9 12900kf

Evga rtx3090 ftw3 ultra

Bequiet 850w psu

Seagate 4tb HD

2 sabrent rocket Q  m.2 ssd 1 tb

Windows 11

So I built the computer and it posts no problem. Installed windows on the Seagate HD bc I was waiting for the m.2 drives to come in. Which i have and are now installed. Problem I'm having is everything I install takes FOREVER to download and install. When I click on things there is serious lag. I'm certain I installed all my drivers and I even ran all the asus ai stuff and the system auto overclocks by 62%. Temps at idle are between 26c and 43c depending on component. I ran some bench marks without issue and even got over 300fps using heaven. I was expecting this pc to operate like greased lighting but instead it acts like it's 10 years old . I'm trying to clone the OS onto the m.2 without any success bc things are running so slow. I have no idea what to do. This pc is my primary business computer for my sign shop with some light gaming. I have at least 5 resource dependent design softwares I use depending on the project that I'm doing. I have photoshop 21 and vectric for cnc design that has 2d and rd rendering if that matters. Help!!!!

Are you 100% certain you are booting to Windows from SSDs? Everything you described sounds like you arent.

This is why we don't install our operating system on a hard drive.

Just back up your data and reinstall on the SSD.

Reinstall windows on the SSD. Win dows 10 and 11 Do not do so well on a HDD compared. That will fix most of the speed issues.

Other then that if temps are fine then its not a throttle issue. Also Do check to see if your AIO was recalled if that is the msi one.

Just an update I cloned the system to the m.2 drive and that really woke the pc up. Now I'm on a 7 hour wait time as I clone the D drive from the old pc to the HD of the new pc. Hopefully I will be able to get to all my files
