Thinkpad UEFI

Do Thinkpads have a hidden section within the UEFI BIOS?

Saw on Reddit that certain consumer Lenovo models do have a hidden section within the UEFI BIOS and to enter need to press FN + R then FN + L (or something like this)

Working on a E14 Gen 2 and there is no option to manually chose between AHCI or NVME. Also no option to add a new boot option. Observed this limitation previously on other Thinkpads I've worked on like X240 and T450.

????

If an M.2 slot supports both sata and NVME drives it will select it for you.

The only option your typically see is AHCI or RAID. Which not all laptops bother supporting.

Whoops. My bad. Got confused between NVME and RAID. Some laptops allows user to choose between AHCI/NVME and RAID/RST.

With Thinkpad E14, it understandably should not support RAID and thus no option between AHCI/NVME and RAID/RST.
