5.0+ and professional 4GPU's

Smiler

Budget (including currency): $45,000 CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Modeling (Sketchup) and Rendering and Animation (Vray) and some other production software (Adobe).

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I was looking to replace an existing computer. Currently need a fast CPU 5.0Ghz+ to handle single threaded operations for modeling and requires the ability to utilize 4 GPU's, preferably 4 A6000, with nvlink for rendering (some models we render can fill  the RAM on a 48GB video card) I recently watched the "The God of Computers" and thought that machine is real close to a machine we could use. Resolution for multiple monitors at 4k with a possible upgrade to 8k. Machine can be stored in our chilled server room, but remote access would need to have 0 latency. Thoughts?

Honestly, budget like that? Don't build it yourself. Look at Puget or one of the other enterprise SIs, they should have an option catered around those requirements (checking Puget, they do offer 12th gen Core i7/i9 based systems, which would meet the clockspeed requirement easily). And then all the support and warranty are handled through just the SI, you don't have to go to each individual OEM for each part if they break.

EDIT: LTT does actually link that exact PC from the video in the description as well: https://grando.ai/choose-a-gpu-machine-for-ai-deep-learning/#grando-rm if you want to request a quote. They'd be very likely to know about remote access options too, given they make computers for these exact use cases.
