Cant access specific drives on Home Network

martel80

I really don't understand what's going on.

I setup my Desktop to be available on my Home Shared Network and the only drive that is available on it when trying to access it from my Laptop is the external drive and a small portion of a partition from the C drive that I called the D drive.

Even though I strictly set them all up the same way, My main C drive is inaccessible and my storage F drive is Inaccessible

I get a message saying

Windows cant access \\Nameofthe computer\letter of the drive
You do not have permission to access ..... Contact your network administrator.

Again, I repeat, all of them are setup exactly the same under Sharing - advanced sharing - Permissions ( All allowed for Everyone + the account I created to access the drive is allowed everything as well )

Why would an external hard drive be accessible and a small 4 GB partition drive be accessible but all the big ones wouldn't be ?

Where's the logic ?
