not quite, but

"Israel has been an important partner to NATO for more than 20 years, as well as an active member of NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue"

"it became in 2001 the first participating country to sign a security agreement with NATO".

 

did forget if it was actually a member of nato, but it has been active with nato, in a partnership? Then again a lot of political drama around that topic.
