3070 ti 3070 TI black screens in game with audio still working

I got a 3070 ti semi recently. Have been running it no issues for a bit until tonight while playing FF14. Was just playing for a bit, and had a hard gpu crash. Audio from discord and FF was still rolling through correctly, just the displays fully turned off. I've already DDU'd my drivers and reinstalled, there's nothing huge showing up in the event viewer. Any ideas?

only thing I've been able to gather from event viewer has this:
1>The DSM service was delayed by 63 seconds for a driver query/download/install on device 'PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_2482&SUBSYS_37973842&REV_A1\4&1D81E16&0&0019'
2>The Open procedure for service "WmiApRpl" in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\wbem\wmiaprpl.dll" failed with error code The device is not ready.. Performance data for this service will not be available.

Current things I've tried: DDUing drivers, changing speeds to PCIe-4 in BIOS, I have tried reseating the card, alongside turning it on and off again.

Have you tested it on another game to see if it works?

Did you upgrade to Windows 11 and then installed  the 3070 TI?

Have you tried 3070 TI with Windows 10?

I just woke up, and I will begin testing of these factors soon. I have been on windows 11 since the first beta went public, so I've been on it for quite some time. I do have a windows 10 install sitting on my other drive so I will test that too.

test one of today:

Cold war Multiplayer, settings maxed.
report: No Crashes

Overwatch 2 settings maxed.
report: full crash. 

test 2: Windows 10

First test with Overwatch 2, no crash.

2nd test with FF14, no crash.

I am chalking this up to a windows issue at this point, since my windows 10 install is running into no issues whatsoever.

I do indeed, it was one of the first things I installed when I swapped to ASUS boards. My guess is you think it has something to do with the RGB software. Thankfully I know the errors for that, and those are Nvlddmkm errors. I haven't seen an error for that yet.

according to the tool, it's stating hardware error. I got my windows 10 install to crash, so that shows my install is fine, thankfully. I did do a sfc scan and it fixed a bluetooth driver, but that's it. 

Codes being shot from the hardware errors are: 193, 117, 141, 144. There are multiple instances of the 144 crash, though.

putting this here for update:

I just reinstalled my 2070 super. crashed as SOON as I opened Overwatch 2. I think it's a dying psu potentially, that makes me happy to be honest. crash codes being 141

Unistall Armory Crate, use the official removal tool from the motherboard webpage (simply uninstalling leaves the executables running, the processes and services) and disable it in BIOS.

So it was nothing software related. My fucking psu exploded. The PCI-E cable MELTED.

Whaat?! That happened and it still "works"? Or did that happen after all the issues?
