Looking for advise on new computer

Budget (including currency): £1200

Country: England

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft/modded and looking to play other games 

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Old Lenovo laptop with a AMD A9-9410 Radeon R5. Upgrading because it just about runs with optifine and all particles and animations turn off, don't know what to have pc or laptop.

Well tbh I took the pccp £1000 recommendation and upgraded mobo and GPU to use the extra £200 🙂

Also if your Minecraft mods are installed with Fabric you can download Phosphor, Lithium and Sodium which should help improve performance greatly, maybe it will even make your old laptop run this game good.
