After reseating my CPU my SSD won't load windows!

Doolahan

I recently moved and while I was preparing my PC to ship I removed my cooler, CPU and GPU. Upon arrival I reseated everything and my computer gave me the American Megatrends screen saying that a new CPU was noticed and then it let me into my BIOS.

In the bios it recognizes all of my hardware, SSD included, but doesn't recognize the SSD in the boot orders.

I have some important files I would like to get off the SSD and would like to try to forgo a fresh install of windows.

I've used a windows 10 boot media to use repair and when is use Diskpart list drives none show up. I've also tried reseating everything and have checked the ends of every power connector.

Any advice on how I might be able to boot and safe my files?

A theory;

Your SSD / Windows installation is setup using MBR and after reseating CPU, a BIOS reset happened, which causes the BIOS to run in UEFI mode again, making the SSD / Windows installation not bootable.

Your mobo battery is dead, so when you unplug the mobo bios is resetted.

You just got to put back the setting. Don't do anything with your windows / drive.
