I've got this block and backplate, but it came with my GPU so I didn't have to mess with the install.

 

I'm very happy with the waterblock. I like it better than my old XSPC waterblocks I had on my 670 cards. It looks better :)

If you don't have a reference card, swiftech and EK both make some nice waterblocks, either way, I'd still go full cover

full block, @The hardware guy , a full cover block will cool not only the GPU, but the VRM + VRAM which the poisdeon has air cooling for.

they don't sell those anymore and the ones that are on amazon are over priced i'm fine with grabbing an ek block once the dcII version is back in stock because the dcII version is cheaper than the reference design

you sure it's just not out of stock?

I find it odd they'd list it for sale on the site if its no longer available. Either way it seems you have a non reference card so it doesn't matter
