They Discontinued This Before I Could Buy One!

Plouffe

After some trials and tribulations, we bring to you the only "affordable" dual-panel TV, the Hisense U9DG. Can it beat OLED? Is it too little too late?

Am I a minority when I don't seem to notice these things. Darker blacks, HDR etc. I had my tv on hdr and saw no difference. Even the light bleed doesn't bother me a whole lot. The only thing i really care about is the screen being as big as possible(same with monitors). I have a 82" atm.

Might be time to use up some Best Buy gift cards I have on this massive TV for the living room. I can get the 42" OLED for pc gaming in the bedroom then. 🙂

I think I'm just used to IPS.  Cause everyone bitches about black level and glow and shit like that but I'm like "hey this is awesome!"

Although I have my AW34D whatever the fuck OLED order in so maybe it'll shit all over my current monitor.  $1 says I burn that fucker in within a month.

I remember watching i think CES when this was shown of.

Was very promising but i immediately questioned the response time and how they were going to sync the backlight, BW panel, and color panel together not only without introducing input lag, but while also keep response time low enough to atleast somewhat try to keep up with OLED.

The answer ofc wasnt that great. Input lag was above the 25ms standard for a good gaming TV, and pixel response wasnt near as good as it needed to be.

Tis a shame really.
