Crucial vs Adata

Hi,

I'm building a PC and I need RAM. My choices are:

 

Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB), DDR4 3200MHz, CL16

Adata XPG Gammix D30, 16GB (2x8GB), DDR4 3600MHz, CL17

 

The Crucial one is 12$ cheaper. Is Adata good quality / worth buying? To me, Crucial seems like a better brand? Other than frequency and CAS they are the same? I'll be using i5-12400f, Gigabyte b660m ds3h, amd rx6600.

some are the same, every brand has their ups and downs.

But for me, I just like crucial more

In general Adata doesn't make bad ram, their Spectrix line up is pretty good. Since I'm not a RAM expert I can't tell you which dies both RAM use.

I just know Samsung B-die and C-die chips are usually sought after, which usually are used on the high end RAM kits.
I think you're best of with Crucial Ballistix, but only because it's more common and popular. The Adata is just good since it has higher speed, hence the higher price too.

Actually someone else here will probably know which specs are the best.

 

Edit: Found this B-die finder, but you need to know what you're looking for. Usually best for Ryzen.

Crucial is going to be Micron ICs for sure, ADATA can be anything. For a 12400F system I'd get whatever is cheapest.
