The games i play the most are csgo(which needs more cpu power from what i know ) and league of legends.

If you play at low resolution/details, it'll require more CPU because of the higher frame rate, but at the same time it'll require less GPU power. The higher your resolution or details, the more demanding for the GPU it'll be and the less stress it'll put on the CPU.

Now i understand that if the cpu doesnt have enough power the gpu it will not work at the maximum capacity anyway so it’s no need the downgrade the gpu power right? Do you think the performance in csgo it will be worst with the 3050 then the 1060 3gb because of the bottleneck ? (Sorry for my bad english )

Running the game on the 3050 compared to the 1060 is going to require the same amount of CPU power, if you're running at the same resolution, detail level and frame rate. So you'll not have worse performance.

If the 3050 can go faster than the 1060, that will also increase CPU demand, but in return you'll get higher frame rate. If you run into a bottleneck, that will limit the maximum performance you can reach, but it's not going to make it worse than with the old GPU.

Hello , so my gtx 1060 3gb broke and it doesnt send image no more . It was paired with an i5 3570k and 16gb ram 1333mhz and i bought an rtx 3050 because it was the best choice right now  i know it’s gonna bottleneck the cpu but i was thinking what if i put the gpu in the pcie 2.0 slot the reduce a little bit the gpu performance do you think it will be better or not really xe

In general CPUs bottleneck GPUs, not the other way around. If the CPU is too slow to keep the GPU working at 100% efficiency, limiting the GPUs bandwidth isn't going to help you in any way. How much of a bottleneck there is also depends greatly on the particular game.

If the game isn't very demanding in terms of CPU, it's unlikely to limit GPU performance. If the game requires a ton of CPU, you might run into a case where the GPU's performance is limited because the CPU can't provide it with data to work on fast enough. Limiting the bandwidth in this case isn't going to do you any favors and might just make things even worse.

Just overclock the balls off the cpu for now and wait for an upgrade, dont go over 1.55v (22nm intel spec), and dont go over 85c, heat will be the main issue so dont expect much more than 1.45v, delid will also help temps alot

I have a 500w psu 80+ bronze  (it’s enough?) and i have to buy a good cooler because the one i have it’s stock (can you tell me one that it will work on this motherboard/cpu)

Thank you so much, now everything is clear.
