Input lag with peripherals connected to monitor?

I recently got the Gigabyte M32U and was wondering if I connect by KB+M to the monitor if it would cause any noticeable input lag. I'm wanting to use the built-in KVM feature which requires my KB+M to be connected directly to the monitor. I do play Warzone and Fortnite every so often and would like minimal input lag when playing these games. 

 

Appreciate any help!

I'm using the FI32U (basically the same monitor with more RGB) and have my peripherals plugged into the panel. No additional latency is noticed, and I am fairly sensitive to it. You can always try it both ways, but I'd be surprised if you notice any
