Can't Delete Files Windows 11

I all of a sudden cannot delete any files in Windows 11. Every time I try to delete something I get the following error.

 

Could not find item

This item is no longer located "file path". Verify the item's location and try again.

 

In all previous versions of Windows if I couldn't delete a file, I could reboot and/or boot into safe mode to delete. I'm finding none of those options work and I can't find anything in my Google searches that works either. Any suggestions?

Additionally, I have been trying 3rd party software to try to delete files and Windows 11 has locked the ability to delete files. The only thing that has changed is a Windows update I installed this morning.

I managed to resolve my own issue. If you cannot delete a file or folder, use the following command in a command prompt running as an Administrator. All other solutions I found did not work.

 

rd /s "\\?\filepath
