Hello.

I've wanted to try steaming for a while now. but i can't get it right. It always starts to lag whatever game i play.
I use OBS(Open Broadcast software) to stream.
Here's my internett connection. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3451352539
If someone could help me with setting up, it would have been great!

@TheDoubleYGamer I believe he knows the settings and such for streaming with OBS, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yea, I do.

What are your system specs? GPU and CPU are all that really matter. I can give you some recommended settings if I know those two components :)

With those specs you shouldn't really be having a problem, have you checked CPU usage when you start experiencing lag? also what are your temps on both GPU and CPU like just incase it is throttling?

Live steaming can be quite demanding on the system. I tend to go no higher then 720P because of my upload speed. I would set the CBR to a 3-5 for the best optimal FPS. It also depends on the game your playing as well.

When streaming the cpu is on about 97-100% use and the temps are 30-40 on both gpu and cpu.

But it also say: WARNING uses to long time to code or something like that.

I stream 720p @ 60 fps

Looks better for fast motion games vs 1080p 30fps

I set the bitrate/buffer to 3500, and then chose the high quality low latency profile, and then checked the low latency box at the bottom

The x264 encoder gives best quality compared to nvenc.

Why don't you use GeForce Experience to stream on Twitch?

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Here's all my settings in obs

Thats why you are trying to stream 1080P at 60 FPS, your internet connection most likely cant cope...
