Hello everyone!

i currently have a I5 8600k CPU and I’m looking for a better motherboard for it. Currently I’m using a Asrock z370 extreme 4, how ever I need a motherboard with integrated Wi-Fi AND a aRGB header because my new Msi Aio needs at least one aRGB header. What can you suggest to me? something white or black would fit the build.

thanks already for taking the time to read this thread.

It will be hard to find a four generations old motherboard at a reasonable price. Ebay, forums for sale sections, and similar are your best bet.

Why can't you just buy a wifi pcie card?

And your aio doesn't need an argb header. It will work fine without. But I am guessing you want the bling. You can get an argb controller, that cost way less than a new 8th gen compatible motherboard, that connect to a usb header on your existing motherboard. I don't really do rgb, but I know Corsair got some controllers as an example.

that is 4 pin RGB header. You coul buy a RGB controller for that type of stuff. As said above, that old motherboards are hard to find, and very much waste of money. Would be stupid to buy a new motherboard for just an aRGB header.

I have a wireless network usb stick, problem is, it only works properly in the front IO. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, however; I also use a Bluetooth dongle which also only works in the front IO but my case only has one single USB port in the front. Only other port is a usb Type c. So either I have bad wifi or my Bluetooth controller keeps stuttering. Both options are just stupid for gaming. Ethernet is not an option sadly and there is the problem with the rgb for my cpu cooler and yes, I am that vein of a creature that I want that rgb to work.
