His offering is a frikken joke. I remember he did put it in for 1200$ at the beginning. Yeah sure it's cherry picked... My Arse. Never used. A little bit of a better binned chip is not cherry picked. Also 700$? A 500$ 4930k beats it and is cheaper and new.

So it's 5000 Euro right? equal to 41351.98 Norwegian Krone right? I'm going to assume that it equal to ~ 4100 GBP, since I cant find the part on any country on PcPartPicker that use Euro...

This use roughly 4000GBP, the rest can be use to make a custom water loop to cool the CPU + GPU as well since the stock cooler for the Titan Black is not good. (so you might want to remove the H100i from the list)

CPU can be change to a 4930k instead if you REALLY need it (I dont think you need, just record and editing dont really worth going ~ 200 GBP more), and you will need to change the Case to 750D to keep the price range.

That's 5000 GBP you know, not Euro. The SSD is overkill, the HDD too, the Ram too, PSU too, but the GPU isnt enough for the price, I took on 2 Titan Black with just 4000 GBP on my post up there... and why such a cheap CPU cooler for such an expensive build? Why dont you just run a full custom water cooler loop?

Cool story? That SSD isn't necessarily overkill. But the HDD's are. PSU is a little bit too much. An EVGA 1000 P2 would be fine. 2 Titan blacks are stupid cards. No point in getting them. Just get GTX 780's.

In your build, why would you get a 4820K? It's literally the same thing as 4770K it's just x79

Why didn't you run a full water cooling loop in your build as well? You are criticizing people and yet your own build has flaws.

Read my build carefully, I did say that the rest of the money can be put up for a custom water cooler, it's a pain to find all the part needed for that using PcPartPicker so I just write it down as a suggestion instead of putting it in the PcPartPicker list

The 4820k do have a bit of speed higher than the 4770k, one is 3.7 and one is 3.5

Why 2 Titan Black? because for a build that use up to 4000GBP you only going to stop at 2 3GB 780 instead of the 6GB and more powerful Titan Black? Are you nuts? Ofc if the build are like 2000-3000 USD or so, I wouldnt hesitate to choose 780 or 780Ti over the Titan Black, but with 4000GBP, why limited yourself?

Ofc in the future when the actual 6GB 780 and 780Ti come out, I will definitely choose them over the Titan Black~

Because the money could be spent better. You could get three 780's or two Titan Blacks. Which would you choose?

Clock speeds aside, 4770K and 4820K are the same thing. You think he needs DUAL Titan blacks for video editing, but not a 6 core CPU? Ok....

Besides, 780ti's offer similar performance in gaming for $500 less per GPU.

2 Titan Black. 2 way improve alot over 1 single card, but 3 way or more they start to not worth the price anymore.

I also did said in my build that he may want a 4930k instead, but giving that he only do video editing it's not really worth it. And why are you so sketchy about these 2? like you said yourself they are about the same, their price are too, what's the problem?

I am massivly confused, Please give me a good answer, And i am not running watercooling because this is my first build and I have heard so much crap about water cooling destroying peoples PC,

  • So you suggest 4770k instead of the Extreme edition?
  • I chose 1200w Incase if i am upgrading at later time, Shouldn't i do that?
  • Is GTX 780 better than GTX 780TI ?

My problem is that you pay more for the X79 platform. There is no point in getting a 4820K over a 4770K unless you are getting more than 32GB of RAM or need the extra PCI-E lanes

- Performance wise the 4960X Extreme beat the 4770k, but do you really need it? It's about 500$ more isnt it?

- Well you can, there's no problem with that, it just that usually ppl will change the GPU when they want to upgrade instead of buying one more for more SLI even when they thought they would do it when they first build their PC, so ppl usually suggest a PSU that dont go too much over what's needed

- 780 Ti is better than 780 in term of performance, but 780 beat in term of price/performance.

Ok now that I can agree with, but with the Mobo I choose it support up to 128GB so if the need EVER arrive he can easily upgrade the Ram, it's also support 4-way SLI (again, if the need EVER arrive) and for the Z87 platform Mobo the one that's support 4 ways is also about the same price. It's not that I dont see why you would want a 4770k over a 4820k, I personally have a 4770k too so I know, it just that with too much money like this it's better to go extreme in some part.
