Need help on if this PC build will work.

RedD34TH

Budget : $1,300 (willing to go over if needed)

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Would like to run most modern games at medium or high quality, edit videos smoothly on Da Vinci Resolve, Some 3D Modeling on Blender

These are the parts that I picked out using PC Part Picker and wanted you guys expertise on whether this build will run or if I need to change some parts to make it work. I'll also be providing Amazon links to these specific parts for this build. So tell me in the replies if this PC would work and also recommend some different parts that I could use instead.

How about instead of buying an AIO buy an air cooler like the Bequiet pro 4 dark or something like that as they're just as good and cheaper

Here would be edited build.

I7 outperforms 5800X by a good amount. I chose 12700F and B660, Tho if you'd like to overcklock, You can get 12700K and Z690 instead: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WWzmnL

360mm AIO is overkill.

RAM and SSD is overpriced.

PSU is low quality compared to others, Right now 850W SuperNova G6 is on sale, It's good quality PSU and get it before sale ends. (107$ now) If sale ends, Get any of those: Enermax Revolution D.F. 850W or Super Flower Leadex III Gold 850W, Both are much higher quality than EVGA SuperNova GT. I don't know why you need 1000W PSU tho. If you still want 1000W here: Phanteks Revolt Pro 1000 WPhanteks AMP 1000 WCorsair RMx (2021) 1000 W

For a case, 4000D airflow, Because Meshify C is small and will have trouble fitting long GPUs when you upgrade.

The build looks good.

I'd get the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 and not go with an air cooler as suggested. I personally use a ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280 and it's great.

The only thing I'd change is the 5800x. Depending on how much power you need, get a 5600x or upgrade to a 5900x. The 5800x, even though it's cheaper than a 5900x, is not worth the hassle and thermal output. The 5800x is a ridiculously hot chip.

The 5900x can be cooled better and it's overall a faster CPU.

I use a similar motherboard, B550 Aorus Pro V2, and it's very capable for a 5900x. You don't need a X570 board.

A 1000W PSU seems a bit overkill, though.

NZXT S340 | Ryzen 7 5900X | B550 AORUS PRO V2 | TridentZ RGB 2x8GB 3200 | RTX 4070
Nintendo Switch (2x), Nintendo *New* 3DS, PSP-1000, PSP-2000 (Crisis Core Limited Edition)

MacBook Pro 14 (2021), 16GB RAM, 512GB ROM

Cheaper and better parts with upgraded storage and cpu

12700k will obliterate a 5800x, if you wanna reduce power consumption you can run static 4.8-5g at 1.2-1.25v vcore for the p cores and overclock the e cores to the moon

Rams are better as they have better dies than that corsair ram so just lazy overclock to 4000 cl16 (volt to 1.5v and lower if unstable) but can go 4500+ cl18 if you really need that much ram bandwidth for whatever reason

Ditched aio for a thicc aircooler which will also hide the non colour matched ballistix, though budget does allow for the aio to be reimplemented and liquid freezer ii is one of the best aios in the market performance and value wise, just dont expect any real oc (5.3+), youll need a much more beefy cooler than an aio

Upgraded storage to 2tb, if you want faster storage theres aorus nvme for 230$

Went with 4000d just cause its cheaper and still a solid case

Alright, here is my updated PC build with some of you guys suggestions. Tell me how this one would be now. Also the reason I want a 1000w power supply is because in the future when GPU prices go down, I would want to get a RTX 3080 or whatever new GPU that might come out in the future
