Ask yourself this. What are you doing with your life. You might come up with stuff after a few minutes on your Throne.

Trying to get into college and deciding on what to do for work experience.. What about you

Do what every adolescent  male does when their parents are out and they are alone in their house:

A pillow fortress.
The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it; the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate, but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

Metro 2033 by glukhovsky is pretty interesting if you want a psychological horror thriller

I am currently reading "The selfish gene" by Richard Dawkins and i can recommend it if you're interested in psychology^^

Then there is the game of thrones books if you're not too fuzzy about possible spoilers.

Tom Clancy's counterforce is a pretty good one too, So is the hunt for red october.

If you're into sci fi i would recommend pretty much anything from Iain Banks. The hydrogen sonata kept me interested the whole way through.

Ghost recon: Choke point. by Peter Telep is also a good read.

And finally i would suggest the warcraft books like Lord of the clans, The last guardian or Rise of the horde.

Those are all the suggestions i can think of now.

Oh and if you want to learn some programming while you read there are books like. Beginning programming with java for dummies. as a light read. Or C++ programming. From problem analysis to program design for more in depth stuff
