New case and CPU cooler recommendations

Drown

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my case and get a good CPU cooler. Here are my specs :

- Ryzen 7 3700X

- MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard

- MSI RTX 3080 Gaming Z Trio

My current case is a Fractal Define R4 that I've had for nearly 10 years. I'm still using the stock CPU cooler.

I'd like to upgrade to a new case with better airflow and get a good CPU cooler. My budget is around 200-300$ for both

I really don't care for RGBs or even a side window, what matters to me is good airflow and if possible, as quiet as possible

So far I was thinking of getting the Corsair 4000D airflow case and the Noctua NH-D15 cooler, would those be good choices?

Thanks for the help!

i rock an All-Black Corsair 5000D Airflow and can recommend it   ~ 180 bucks in switzerland but if you have white parts then a Lian Li O11 in white or in black for black parts, both cases are big chunguses witha heckton of airflow

Thanks for the reply! The 5000D Airflow looks great, did you purchase extra fans or do the included 2x120mm do a good enough job?

These fans are hot shit, 4x A12x25 for dual rads, GPU & CPU and 4 LL120s for the RGB, balance looks and performance! and added two NF-F12's to the GPU Rad as that thing gets hot on +139 Core (RTX 2060 Shunt-Modded, G12 Bracket)

For you i think, the 4000D as suggested above will be enough, i have to deal with GPU & CPU Rads and a Hell's GPU (I want the 3DMark record for that config badly, 3rd place for now)

But if you plan to Custom Loop or GPU G12 then, look at the 5000D. Ive buildt in an 4000X (for my friend) and my system in da 5000D and building was nearly same, removing the cable cover for the AIO in the 5000D was very hard (really! never got that confused building PC's!!!)

R4 is an ok case as it has that nice 140mm fan slot below gpu and a side slot too. The fans that come with the case are pure garbage though so a 5pack of Arctic p14 pwm:s should fix it.

Fuma 2 Rev.B has lauched (faster fans, and black in color, maybe somewhat better, unclear), So I'd hold up on Fuma 2 buying until comes (to buy the new, or reduced price old).
