Advice for my build

Go to solution Solved by Mark Walter,

Lucky you I am a engineer too. you must go with the components I chosen without any doubt.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vh7Gfv

Its over 80 times better than the build you chosen.

Please go with those components only.

Please like my answer if you like it😊

Budget (including currency): Maximum 1500 euros

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Engineering programs (multiple heavy RAM and GPU programs running at the same time)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have tried putting together the build above but am unsure if there is a better configuration, my experience is moderate but far from an expert or tech savy.

So thank you in advance guys to help me!

Greetings Serre2000

You are using USA version of PCPP. You might not be aware, but USA doesn't have VAT in their retail prices like stores in Europe and some other countries do. So what you see as good value build on USA side of PCPP, might not be at all what you are going to get with same budget in EU. I would strongly advice that you check either Belgium version of PCPP (select country from top right) or if that has too limited amount of shops, check if you can good versions from Netherlandic or German versions.

Your original build does still land within budget https://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/pk7vVw

The suggested build could be bit over https://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/fkm3Fg

Thats not exactly same. It has less storage space (only 500Gb SSD, not anything else), it doesn't have PSU at all and has H-series mobo for K-series CPU. So lots of issues. I suggest you wait a bit for more replies. If you get like 2-5 different suggestions, you can compare them and get the best for your needs.

Why do you have an overclockable K-model CPU and a cheap H610 board that can't overclock?

If you're an engineer at Microsoft, why did you fall for this story about "Windows 12" based entirely on a satirical tweet?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Thank you for your answer, I have indeed found out after looking at his setup that it came short on psu and hard drive. I'm thankful for your replies and everyone else's, thanks for helping!
