Budget (including currency):  ~$2000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):  Brand new first PC build. Trying to find the best bang for my buck in this day in age.

Couple questions I have:

-Will the included AMD Wraith cooler be sufficient in this build? (My case has 3 fans in it, 2 pulling from the front panel, 1 exhaust on the back.)

-Will my 750W PSU be sufficient regardless if I will OC or not?

-Will I need to update my motherboard bios?

(Keep in mind I am a newbie and this is my first ever build, i will be building this soon and currently have the case, gpu, mobo, and ram)

Thank you!

the CPU will run hot, but it's fine enough.

More than enough.

technically possible, but highly unlikely. I'm guessing you won the newegg shuffle, so that motherboard will be pretty new, and as long as the motherboard is newer than the CPU it'll work without a BIOS update.

Thank you for the reply. Exactly. I was unfortunately unaware that the Mobo that came with the 3070ti was AMD only. I have never ventured into the world of AMD and didn't know what an AM4 socket was. I was told the shuffle price was worth it to get a 3070ti for $850 + the mobo which was $218. Not sure if the mobo was worth but the 3070ti was enough for me to pull the trigger. Evidently I had to change plans and switch to an AMD processor which I hope is good enough in this day in age, as well as an amd mobo which I hope wont limit my future-proofing too much.

(P.S. Will extra exhaust fans at the top of  the case be recommended?)

Probably. That case doesn't look like it has the best airflow, so either running more fans or swapping to a different case might be a good idea. The Phanteks P400a Digital is a great option for about the same price.

The case was a Christmas gift unfortunately. I will probably look up some good case fans that fit my case. Especially during summer time my room gets extremely hot.

It looks better than something like the H510, just not the absolute best. Add in a couple fans and it'll be fine. You can get a 5 pack of Arctic P12s (pretty good fans) for like $25-30

Not sure when you last got your information but for the last 5 years and up until the release of Alder Lake, AMD has pretty much given Intel a run for their money in terms of raw performance for gaming. Today when on sale, AMD CPUs are still fantastic performance and value propositions, especially considering that AM4 is a more mature (albeit EOL) socket compared to Alder Lake's initial teething issues. I'd say you're in good hands with a 5600X, since it's a year-old CPU that hasn't lost its luster yet, even if Alder Lake is a bit of a better value proposition on the mid-range options (and have a monopoly on the low-end market).

The motherboard is a bit pricey for a B550, but it's not out of the ordinary for higher-end models of that chipset.

EDIT: If you live near a Micro Center, strongly consider picking up your 5600X from there, since they're on sale for $230.

I would recommend a solid air cooler to help cool the cpu better. Stock coolers lately haven't been all that great. Case comes with enough fans. However, if you feel like it's not giving you the best airflow, you can always purchase another two later (for the top of the case). You can also definitely get a cheaper monitor than that. There's one from Best Buy that's on sale this weekend. Today is most likely the last day for the sale though.

Thanks for the reply. The monitor was mainly a placeholder. Better recommendations are always welcome. From comments above I feel like some extra fans would be good enough since I do have some room at the top of the case.

P.S. That monitor does look very good at a pretty good price point. The urge to swoop that up in the coming 7 hours is pretty strong right now though. You are feeding my impulse buy habit lol.
