SoundBar recommendations

Acid Panda

recently purchased a LG c1 tv and whilst the sound on the tv is 'fine'. I would like better really, do you have any suggestions for a sound bar or sound system for ~£500 max. willing to a surround set up but ease of setup and quality is main focus.

Room is rectangular, tv is in corner on a stand so not wall mounted and will not consider a wall mount. (hope this detail helps, let me know if you want more more information)

I’d avoid Samsung, we have one and didn’t realise that if you don’t have a Samsung TV they make everything awkward

Well if you're looking for cheap/easy, then ATMOS soundbar is probably the best you can get.  But anything ATMOS is going to START at $500 for any decent quality.

Hey, would you care to elaborate? I never had a problem with ours, apart from the documentation being basically useless at explains the hidden settings.

Just a lack of features that you’d expect like passthrough. Parents have recently moved from a Samsung TV to a Sony with a Samsung soundbar and have had so many issues
