Im ucurrently using the Gigabyte Aorus 15-X9 Laptop (i7-8750H, RTX 2070) and planning on an upgrade. Im wondering if i picked the best parts for price to performance with in my budget and if its the right time to buy a new pc.

My budget is $2300 usd for the parts not yet purchased.

My aim is for 1440p gaming at a smooth 60fps or higher. These are the games that I play https://steamcommunity.com/id/Splitmonk_/games?tab=all

Here is my parts list with all the periferals that i already perchased https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NGVRBj (I am planning on getting another monitor in the future, also 1440p)

Every single game listed in your steam library I can run very well even with my gtx950 lmao. Every game there at max settings with 100+ fps and maybe skyrim/the forest, etc. at medium for 60 (not 1440p, but a 3070 is over 10x faster than mine so it should be good even at 1440). Your build looks very well put together and every piece looks good. 2TB ssd is good, good cpu, good gpu, etc. Not sure if youre about aesthetics but with that nice of a rig I would be... Tbh I'd swap the fans and case for a more branded selection... Not really a good idea to get $13 fans. I use the $25 ish cooler master rgb fans and they work very well (very quiet and can be easily controlled w the software). I'd also change the case to something that lives up to the parts inside. 4 fans total on a case for such a power consuming build doesn't seem optimal for the best performance, especially if youre going to OC. Not sure if youd want to stick to a color scheme too or if you dont care much. My setup is a white/black so I chose components that are mainly white. Overall, you chose pretty good combos. One of the fastest cpus and gpus available. What frame rates are you getting now with your current setup? just curious. I think the switch from a laptop to pc is always the better choice.

In your $2300 budget, is monitor included in that? Do you have cpu preference(AMD or Intel)? And system with RGB or none?

Well you gotta get a cpu cooler, though apart from that, it all should run most games like a beast!

Parts you picked are good to go already. But having an AIO would better.
