Burned gpu :( can it be fixed?.

My gpu gtx 660 got some burn chip sadly now I game on a Intel 6700k graphics is this repairable I see a few burnt MOSFET and one burned inductor.

It seems GPU stock has started to recover, although that's entirely dependent on your local area.

 

You will inevitably be leaving some performance on the table using your 6700k, but it's still a capable chip, particularly if overclocked, and unless you're willing to upgrade to an entire new platform, such as 12th gen alder lake, I think it's still worth getting a new GPU.

Afterall, you can pull your gpu and carry it forward to a new system, should you decide on getting one in the future.

 

For $700, my first pick would be an RTX 3060 Ti. If that's not available, you could go with the regular 3060 from team green, or the RX 6600 XT, which is a nice option from team red.
