S6 lite or p11plus. Which is better for a student

I am a student and want to get a tablet for taking notes in school. Obviously I want to be able to do things like gaming (emulators primarily) and streaming on the tablet.  Which pick between the Samsung s6 lite and the Lenovo tab p11plus, and what are good notetaking apps for the later?

Between those two I would choose the S6 lite, as it has quite a bit of community support for custom ROMs. While you may not want to do this now, you will more likely have options for continued updates when Samsung stops supporting it.

sorry to bump an old thread but i went with the p11plus as the hardware is just better. i valued hardware over software.
