Upgrading a PSU (And JayZTwoCents recent Vid)

Go to solution Solved by Middcore,

I recently realized I was running my 3080Ti with a 650w PSU. A 750w is recommended.

JayZ serendipitously released his "Never do these 5 things" videos in which he stated to not reuse PSU cables. In my instance I'm going from an EVGA G3 to an EVGA G6. Same brand but I want to be safe - should I still re-cable my entire build or is would this be an acceptable time to simply swap the PSU itself and reuse all the existing cables?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

EVGA keeps their pinout the same regardless of OEM.
