SSD with 80% life safe to use?

davidst95

Hi, I have a 1TB SSD with 80% life.   Is it safe to continue to use?   If so, is there anyway I can extend it for a couple more years of daily use?   It's in a Dell XPS 15 laptop.   Thanks!

Probably yes and to elongate the lifespan don't write or read too much and don't overheat it that is it

I have an ASUS G14 2021 with Manjaro KDE and I am a professional Linux NoOB and also pretty bad at General Computing.

It has already been used/powered on for over 19,000 hours (2.2 years) and only dropped 20%. If you continue at the same rate, you still have about 9 years left.
