Network adapter driver error

Alephh

My parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HTxmPX

I built my PC last night and everything went smoothly for the build, but after i installed windows the computer wouldn't connect to the internet. I have an ethernet cable plugged in and the cable worked with my gaming laptop I had used until I got the PC. I have tried multiple tutorials on how to fix this issue but none have worked. I even reinstalled windows. I have tried to update the Kernel Debug Network adapters driver but it says its up to date and I cant roll it back and it wont tell me why. I assume that the ethernet port to the motherboard is what i use and not a PCIe ethernet card because that is what makes sense. Any insight or help would mean a lot, thank you

Have you tried using another system to go to the support page and download the lan/Ethernet driver?
Unless you are using WiFi (which then why would you need a cable) windows cannot install or update the driver without internet access

I ended up going to PCLaptops and thats what they did. I didn't know those existed because none of the videos I had watched mentioned it

Cool, glad it is solved so you can mark this fixed!

But yep now you know, if windows doesn't install the driver it means it needs the internet as its data on your drive could not find one 🙂
