PC stutters right after turning it on or after a couple of minutes or not at all...

So, in summary. For now, the pc as is (without removing any extension cables) I'll be just monitoring the voltages while I play or basically do anything, and if something is up again then I'll start switching and removing extensions (because I have 6pin and a 4+4pin EPS, 24pin, and 6pin gpu extensions from cablemod, and another from another company for the hdaudio header which as of writing this comment I realised that this could also be causing the problem, right? Could that be also a variable to what is happening to the pc? Should I remove it entirely just to see what'll happen, or is it not worth it. I don't know if the hdaudio header can cause a short.

Coming from years in IT, I can tell you best to just keep an eye on voltages say once a day or something during gaming sessions or if you see it happen. And change one thing at a time. Now if you are concerned this will damage your system take out anything cable wise that is unnecessary.

But yeah basically. I doubt what you are experiencing is strictly speaking a short, maybe more of a faulty wire that may not be able to hold stable voltage but either way essentially yes a bad cable(s) or the UPS can cause weird things. Audio header as with anything can cause a problem, just unlikely.

I don't know if that was your issue but those voltage dips with extensions were not normal. The big changes were probably causing issues in power delivery.

So it just happened again. I didn't expect it to happen so quickly... these are the stats. I don't know what is the red one at the top but it seems bad?!

I just read on another forum that it could actually be bios settings or the psu itself.

Regarding the below described problem (randomly stutters 1-4 seconds), the issue could be with the VGA TURBO-GTX1060-6G.

We kindly suggest you, if possible for you, to check the system with another GPU or to check the power mangement settings.
