Hi everyone. im just getting pretty high idle temps right now. and i really dont know why.

here's my rig:

5900x

X570 Aorus Master (bios F35e)

Trident z 4x8g 4000mhz

980 pro 1TB

asus dual 3070

H150 elite capellix

lian li 011D case

850W PSU

PBO:

PPT 160

TDC 115
EDC 120

CO: -10 to -25 (just got to no WHEA errors anymore for about 3 months now)

RAM: XMP profile at 4000mhz, infi fabir at auto (currently at 1800) **really confused by this, when i set to 2000 for that 1:1, not stable.

my main prob is idle temps are just high. right now, with just this window open (firefox), IM AT 45 - 59C, at load, CB MT 10 min, max at 73

gaming, it stays at 68 to 72 (usually i play apex, pubg, at 1440 170mhz)

ive read some, and im conflicted i should refine this more. when i check for Vcore usually at min ave max 1.1/1.3/1.5

or should i just go for fix OC at 4550mhz then lower the Vcore like 1.2?

Idle temperatures don't matter. 45°C is downright chilly for a processor, there's no reason for your cooler to spin up and make a bunch of noise to cool it down further.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
