No Bluetooth

Can't figure out why I don't have any Bluetooth. Using a usb dongle but no Bluetooth in device manager. Aorus x370 r7 1700

Your motherboard doesn't appear to have Bluetooth included. What exact USB dongle are you using?

I installed chipset and bios drivers off the website for my mb. Anything im missing?

Yes, the drivers for the usb dongle. I have a cheap bluetooth dongle based on a broadcomm chip, needed the drivers before it would work.

Where can I find the Broadcom drivers? Can find them on insignia website.

First you need to find out what chip the dongle is using, if it is a broadcomm one, go to the broadcomm website.

I have had a ton of issues with Bluetooth in the past, not sure if this solution applies to you but if it worked before and doesn't now (esp after sleep), a full shutdown then cold boot fixes it.

I'm gonna have to buy a different adapter. No information on this one. Instructions say go to the website and install the drivers. Website doesn't have any drivers. Every forum I can find is full of people saying the same thing. As per insignia windows should be able to auto detect and install drivers but windows doesn't even recognize the device. Never had this issue with a Bluetooth device

What is the exact model? The majority of Bluetooth dongles use one of a handful of chips.
