Im looking on this monitor VG28UQL1A since it just released in Eu stores.

But im worried about the backlight bleeding and dead pixel odds.

Since my 2k and 4k monitors from asus back in 2020/2021 had bad BLB and several dead pixels.

I went to hell and back again to refund it. But the 3rd timeis the charm right ? 😄

 

I could not fine any video from linus about this monitor.

 

Has anyone bought it and can tell me good/bad news ?

Before i buy it ?

It's the wrong place to look out for monitor "reviews" either way.

Look towards Hardware Unboxed and RTINGS.com for serious monitor reviews.

 

This monitor seems to use the same display panels as the Gigabyte M28U and Samsung Odyssey G7 S28. But it seems both of these are cheaper than the Asus one, plus they're actually well reviewed.

 

From the reviews i found of the Asus model it seems it's a bit slower and has more overshoot, so i'd get one of the other two instead.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I see...but the Gigabyte M28U has only 8 bit.Where it should be 10 for these kind of monitors

And the samsung one does look great, but dont even has hdr10+.

 

I just want a 4 k monitor so bad now that has it all.
