CPU stuck at boost speed

Hi there!

 

I have occured issue where my CPU won't change it's clock speeds from base to boost but its just sitting at full boost even in BIOS.

I was able to set fixed clock speed via CPU clock ratio but it just stay at set value.

 

I would love to make it turbo only when needed and stay at base 2.6Ghz when idle/web surfing.

 

Intel I5-11400f

Gigabyte B560M DS3H

Check to see if you running the latest revision of your BIOS. If not, then update it. On a side note you'll want to enable XMP so your RAM is running at the proper speed and timings.

Screen is from just updated BIOS, that's why even XMP is not enabled.

 

I have tried many settings configuration of CPU tweaks but with no result 😞

Look for the Multi-Core Enhancement (MCE) setting in the BIOS.

Board manufacturers tend to have it set to [Auto] or [ON] by default.

And.... [Auto] = [ON]

I have found out that Gigabyte has implemented Multi core Enchancment in XMP profile, but as its shown on screens. Even without it turned on, CPU turbo regardless of load
