Help with OC my CPU

Any chance someone could help me OC my CPU?

    AMD Phenom II X4 960T

Well x4 960t does have unlocked multi so even if your board sucks ass fsb wise you still have clock multi to ramp up

 

Also get an 8xx board by trading in your 970 cause 9xx chipset both suck ass fsb wise and doesnt even have core unlocking which is dumb

Not aways true - My Sabertooth 3.0 can go past 350 on the bus with ease and I know I've got a Crosshair V-Z that hits 300+ FSB all day long.

AMD is the reason why unlocking cores was done away with, it's not the board's fault with those that cannot unlock cores so be sure to thank AMD for that feature removal.
There is no guarantee hidden cores will unlock or be useable if they do, silicon lotto in play here.

With all that an 8xx board for an AM3 (Not AM3+) chip is the best choice.
In reality any decent AM3/AM3+ board is fine, including your 970 but 8xx boards are preferred for good reason.
