I procrastinate A LOT, im trying to control it by using tools like website blockers, deleting aplications, calender plans etc, it works half the time, the other half I end up disabling the counter mesures and procrastinating for the whole day.

Should I stop using the counter mesures and just hope something "clicks" or should I contiune using the counter measures untill I improve (I've only been using the "counter measures" for a few weeks)

I've also heard of things like "dopamine detox's" should I try that, I think that is why I am procastinating: due to me being used to high dopamine levels from slacking all day.

Im asking for advice if its unclear please, prefereably from someone who has related to this.

And no, im not a Doomer, yet...

1. Have a regular sleeping schedule
2. When you wake up - no phone/computer for at least 30 minutes. Go for a walk for ~15 minutes and during that time ask yourself "what can I do to be most effective in the next 2 hours"

I do walks like that about every 2-3 hours. This forces you to get into a mood to actually do something for the next 2-3 hours.

I am a sleep procrastinator. I have yet to find a good way to break this habit, one that is consistent anyway. I average around 7 hours sleep a night which is quite bad.

7 Is really good, I have been getting around 3-5 Hrs/ not sleeping for a whole day. I try really hard to tire myself but I still have a lot of energy at the end of the day

If you can't walk, try meditation or any sort of very low intensity exercise. It could just be flexing.

I don't see a problem here. So you procrastinate... so? does this cause you to fail tasks at work, school, or personal life? I love to procrastinate it allows me to use my time to fuck off and enjoy my days. then when something is due to work i usually spend a good couple hours on doing the task and totally killing it because of my hyperfocus in the final days of something being needed.

I'll never see a problem with putting off today what can be done tomorrow unless it causes you to have issues with the aforementioned areas. And if it does its because your doing it wrong the whole point of putting shit off is to create that "stress" to make you super focused and able to do a weeks worth of work in an hour without any issues.
