😞 yap, I knew it but I thought that usb-c was different..... I was wrong 😄 np

So buy DP to HDMI cable is the way, cheap and clean! XD
thx m8

Yeah, with a Ryzen CPU that doesn't end in "G" nothing can be done with those ports on the motherboard. They're only there in case an APU (a G series chip) is installed. You'll have to use the ports on your graphics card, such as DisplayPort or HDMI depending on what card you have.

Hi guys, i run to the same issue but first to buy anything at work I'v a spare usb-c to HDMI cable it will works with my Ryzen 7 5800x CPU?
Thx again XD

Are you trying to use the display outputs on your motherboard? If so you'll need to replace the CPU. Your Ryzen 7 does not have integrated graphics, so the display outputs on your motherboard aren't functional.

lol is a kind of mess right now: usb-c have 100000 different version and all looks all the same DP, mini DP, HDMI and other 40000 different type of video connector with different specs. In the "old" ages VGA or DVI that's it, usb A was same for 3,2.1 and 1 and different color. boh
